February Real Estate Update: Over 9 percent increase? Gas prices, Interest rates
Hey Friends- Real Estate Update! For the Fresno/Clovis area, values in
January '17 showed a slight dip from previous month. The average sale price was $258,985.
But,there is an over 9% increase from the previous January.
But,there is an over 9% increase from the previous January.
The median sales price for last month was $235,900.
In Clovis, Ca., The average sales price is $315,667. The median sales price was $285,640. If you are thinking of moving to the Clovis area. Gas prices have risen slightly again,according to Gas Buddy.com. The Lowest gas price is $2.45 in the Clovis/Fresno area. you can find that price at Costco or at the Fastrips at Dakota & Hughes or at Chestnut & Clinton at the time of this blog. Interest rates remain steady. Signs show there is a good chance they will rise as the year progresses.
Again with what I believe will be record rainfall for the area. I am Hopeful government officials will work together to create the Temperance Flat Dam for water storage.There is talk of infrastructure projects on a federal level. Even heard of the possible use of tax credits to spur private investment. We sure do need to store more water.
Anyway, with good prices and fair interest rates the local real estate market remains healthy.
