Well, friends, what is happening in the local 

real estate market?How was last year?

Well, this is a how much each of these markets 

rose in 2018.

Fresno market ended up 3 percent higher in 2018.

After a dramatic rise, then a dip in the middle of 
the year, as commented in my July post,the 
market remained stable. Slight rise.
Clovis market continues to be strong. Up Approx. 
9% for the year.
Madera market is well. Up over 14%. Partly fueled 
by all the higher priced new construction & 
desirable schools.Overall, the local real estate 
continues to rise in value. 
Below are the December sales info.

the Fresno Multiple Listing Service)

ACTIVES. In the FRESNO market is 904.
increase of over 27% Since December of last year.
In CLOVIS, 247 homes are active. Up 27% as well.
MADERA area. Active homes are 200. Up a little. 

The avg. sales price in the FRESNO area in 
was $279,853.There were 469 sales. 
The median sales price rose to $255,000. 
Days on Market 35.

CLOVIS area. Dec. The average sales price 
was $359,953. 103 sales.The median sales 
price was $335,000. Days on Market 53. 

MADERA, Dec. Average sales price 
$266,538. 39 sales. Median was $260,000.
Almost 50% drop in sales from October '18.
Probably seasonal for Madera area.
