August Real Estate Sales, Grizzlies Champions!
Hello Friends-
I hope all is well. Hey, the Fresno Grizzlies won the Pacific Coast League championship Sunday! this past Saturday,As part of the Servolution study, we had a #dosomething day. People from my church,Northpointe, were all over town serving in different capacities.
Real estate, presently, continues to steadily do well. Gas prices are back down. The drought is still with us. But they keep saying we have an El Nino coming. Which I am praying that we do. This will be positive. Interest rates still seem to be good.(Did not get them in time for this post)
As stated, Local market values are seeing a steady rise.

LAST MONTH'S REAL ESTATE SALES
As per the Fresno Multiple Listing service, in the Fresno/Clovis area:
Homes sold last month, Aug.'15: 637
A year ago,Aug. '14, homes sales were 548.
704 homes sold in July.'15.
Average sales price was $252,241 (Aug.'15)
Average sales price was $233,894 (Aug.'14)
Median sales price was $227,500 (Aug.'15)
Median sales price was $217,700 (Aug.'14)
Breakdown per price range & Days on Market
326 homes sold from $200-400,000.The avg. D.O.M.:43
67 homes sold from $400,000 Plus. The avg. D.O.M.: 72

As of today, the present inventory of active homes in the Fresno/Clovis area stands at 1,481.
( A slight difference from a year ago)1432 active homes in April '14.

Values are continuing to rise steadily. After being stable for the 1st 4 months of the year, Values have now,...risen. Approx. 9% Ending in August of 2015.

As you can see, the average sales price
& the Median price are up from a year ago.
Overall, with good interest rates, loan program(s) availability, the Real estate market looks healthy. Good time to buy. Good time to make that move.
