March Real Estate Update: Gas prices, Interest rates
Hey Friends- Real Estate Update! For the Fresno/Clovis area, values in
February '17 showed another slight dip.The average sale price was $240,319. Which may be conducive to this time of the year. The month of March, could be a bellwether.
Active homes. Active homes on the market have dropped to under 1000.The lower inventory of homes may put the market back on track of rising an average of 1 % a month.
The median sales price for last month was $220,000.
In Clovis, Ca., The average sales price is $318,576(Slightly rose) The median sales price was $285,000(Remained basically the same) If you are thinking of moving to the Clovis area. I suggest you do it as soon as you can. Gas prices have risen again,according to Gas Buddy.com. The Lowest gas price is $2.59 in the Clovis/Fresno area. you can find that price at the Costco's or at the Fast N Easy at 1st & Ashlan ave or Bizzy Bee at Peach & Kings Canyon at the time of this blog. Also, the state government is considering increasing gas taxes. nothing has happen yet.
Interest rates remain steady. hovering around 4 - 4.5%. Signs show there is a good chance they will rise as the year progresses.
Anyway, with good prices and fair interest rates the local real estate market remains healthy.
